OK you guys let's get down to it! We all know the importance of applying primer before foundation right? Well if you're anything like me, you haven't always been a "makeup savvy" person. I started wearing mascara in middle school and I must tell you that my mom completely freaked out on me when she saw it! This was my moment to emerge and she shut that down super fast. As time progressed I lost interest in makeup until I got to high school. I always wanted to be the pretty girl. I will admit that I never used primer in my makeup routine until I reached my 20's. Now let me tell you what I missed out on all those long years.
Why is primer important? Primer acts as a shield to smooth the rough spots on your face preventing that awful cakey look. It also helps to keep your makeup intact throughout the day resulting in less product that needs to applied. Yeah you guys know exactly what I'm referring too.
I noticed a major difference in my application including primer as a base. I have also started to mix a pea size amount into my foundation before applying. Baby watch that foundation glide on so smoothly.
